Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min and RCD Mallorca's Lee Kang-in confirmed their pre-season showdown in July.

According to an exclusive report by the local newspaper "Kyeongbuk Maeil," which represents the Gyeongsang-do, southern region of Korea, the match between Tottenham and Mallorca will be held in Daegu.

Daegu City is South Korea's third city and is home to Daegu FC, a club that won the 2018 KFA Cup and won the 2021 KFA Cup runner-up.

Daegu FC finished third in the K League 1 in the 2021 season and advanced to the 2022 AFC Champions League playoffs. DFB Daegu Bank Park, completed in 2019, is the latest soccer stadium with 12,000 seats and is considered to have the best viewing environment in Korea due to its close distance from the stands and pitch.

Tottenham will reportedly play a total of two matches against K League All-Star and Spanish La Liga club Mallorca on the Korean tour in July.

The match against the K League All-Star is known to be likely to be held in Seoul, but the specific location has yet to be confirmed.

Daegu City actively promoted to host the Coupang Play Series, where Tottenham participates, and reportedly succeeded in hosting a big match between Tottenham and Mallorca.

The Daegu Metropolitan Government has been strongly promoting the Daegu game in 2019 when Coupang was finally selected as the target for the sale of the Daegu National Industrial Complex support facility in Guji-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu, and is reportedly in fact final consultations on the match in mid-July.
