Oh Hyeon Gyu  set to sign a contract with Celtic FC soon.

British 'Sky Sports' reported that Celtic and Suwon Samsung had reached an agreement on the transfer fee of Oh Hyeon Gyu. Oh Hyeon Gyu's transfer fee is 2.5 million GBP. An agreement with Celtic on personal terms for Oh Hyeon Gyu has also come to an end.

Suwon wanted to spend 2023 with Oh Hyeon Gyu. But Oh Hyeon Gyu wanted to go to Europe. Celtic also strongly wanted Oh Hyeon Gyu.

Born in 2001, Oh Hyeon Gyu played 35 matches for Suwon in the 2022 season and scored 13 goals. In particular, in the second leg of the promotion playoff against Anyang, he scored a dramatic winning goal just before the end of the second half of extra time, leading Suwon to remain in the K League 1.

Oh Hyeon Gyu, a member of Suwon Youth, has completed his military service while playing for Sangmu and has a contract with Suwon until 2026. Oh Hyun-gyu joined the national team as a reserve at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and participated in the World Cup round of 16.

Oh Hyeon Gyu recently went to UK and is known to have already completed a medical test.
