Bayern Munich was beaten badly by Bayer 04 Leverkusen, but eventually took a point and made a big stride toward the championship. After the game, Kim Min-jae was evaluated as one of the better players among Bayern players, and soccer magazine ‘Kicker’ also classified Kim Min-jae as one of the top players in the team.

Bayern Munich and Bayer 04 Leverkusen drew 0-0 in the 22nd round of the 2024-2025 German Bundesliga at the BayArena in Leverkusen, Germany.

Bayern continued its record of not beating Leverkusen even once since the appointment of manager Xabi Alonso. However, compared to last season’s league record of 1 draw and 1 loss, this season’s 2 draws did not hurt their chances of winning the championship.

Bayern ended up with 55 points with 17 wins, 4 draws, and 1 loss. Leverkusen, who was chasing in second place, has 47 points with 13 wins, 8 draws, and 1 loss. The point gap between the two teams remained at 8 points. Bayern's championship is getting closer.

Bayern was beaten one-sidedly, so a draw was a blessing in disguise. In terms of the number of shots, Leverkusen recorded 15, overwhelming Bayern's 2. Bayern was completely outclassed in terms of tactics and physical strength. The two center backs, Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano, blocked the goal, and even then, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer barely managed to hold on, saving the shots they allowed.

After the weekend league schedule was over, Kim Min-jae received 3 points in the game-by-game ratings released by 'Kicker'. This is 2nd place on the team. In Bayern, goalkeeper Neuer is 1st with 2.5 points. The two centre-backs Kim Min-jae and Dayo Upamecano followed with three points each.
