Bae Jun-ho and Yang Min-hyeok scored in a match back in England. In particular, Yang Min-hyeok scored his first goal since moving to Europe.

Stoke City won 3-1 against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the 39th round of the 2024-2025 English Championship (2nd division) at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke-on-Torrent, England.

Bae Jun-ho scored the first goal for Stoke in the 21st minute of the first half. Junior Chamadue cut through the right and gave a ground cross to the center, and Bae Jun-ho finished it. He showed off his finishing ability by rushing to the goal at full speed and pushing his foot in with high concentration.

This is Bae Jun-ho's third goal of the season. Bae Jun-ho recorded only five assists without scoring a goal in the first half. Then, after scoring his first goal late last month, he gradually accumulated goals and reached his third goal. He has eight attack points (three goals, five assists). Bae Jun-ho played as a left winger in Stoke's 4-2-3-1 formation that day and was substituted out in the 24th minute of the second half.

Yang Min-hyeok, who had been waiting on the bench, was substituted in at the start of the second half to pursue the team, and the Korean derby was made possible.

Yang Min-hyeok scored a goal in the 33rd minute of the second half when the team was three goals behind. It was a lightning shot. Yang Min-hyeok received a pass from Jack Colback, turned around while overcoming the opponent's body fight just outside the penalty area, and put a left-footed turning shot into the corner of the goal. He showed his desperation and concentration to somehow score a goal.

The two players had been playing together in Korea until a few days ago. They were both selected for the South Korean men's national soccer team. Coach Hong Myung-bo selected Bae Jun-ho, Yang Min-hyeok, Uhm Ji-seong, and Baek Seung-ho, who are all playing in the English lower leagues, for the A match in March. The growth of promising players is a great boon for the national team coach, who must have a variety of cards.

Yang Min-hyeok completed his official transfer from Gangwon FC to Tottenham Hotspur in January, and was loaned to QPR right after to begin his adaptation to the European stage. Yang Min-hyeok, who was used in his 9th game as a starter and substitute, scored his debut goal on this day. He has recorded 1 goal and 1 assist so far.
