K League 1 club FC Seoul has signed Australian international winger Benjamin Halloran as an Asian quarter player.

The contract period is two years.

Halloran joined the Australian national team in 2014 and participated in the Brazil World Cup. Former Adelaide winger played in all three World Cup finals.

FC Seoul, which has been under extensive review to reinforce its Asian quarter players, succeeded in signing Halloran, a top winger in the Australian A-League.

Halloran is an attacker with an advantage of wing play. He dominates space through fast speed.

Australian winger with excellent soccer intelligence creates goal opportunities with his simple passing ability using his teammates and explosive space penetration ability.

Halloran's advanced soccer experience in the German Bundesliga is a strength that Seoul expects.

Born in 1992, the winger started his professional career on the Australian A League Gold Coast at the age of 18 in 2010.

Halloran received attention after moving to Brisbane Roar in 2012.

He signed a contract with Fortuna Dusseldorf in the German Bundesliga in 2013 and played in Europe.

Ben moved to Germany's FC Heidenheim in 2015.

He played 93 matches in five seasons in Germany and scored 14 goals.

Halloran, who left Germany, returned to Australia in 2018 after a while in Japan's J League and played for Adelaide United.

The Australian winger has played a total of 82 matches  in Adelaide so far and has scored 17 goals.

Former Dusseldorf winger will enter South Korea as soon as he completes procedures related to entry. After going through self-isolation, he joins the training camp.
