Coupang Play will broadcast all K-League matches live.
Coupang Play will broadcast K-League matches live starting from May 5th, starting with the K-League 1 round 10 matches. This season, K-League 1 will broadcast all matches of each round, and next season, both K-League 1 and K-League 2 will be broadcast.
Previously, Coupang Play had an official partnership signing ceremony with the Korea Professional Football Federation, which oversees the K League. According to the partnership between the two sides, Coupang Play plans to carry out various activities not only for broadcasting by 2025 but also for the development of the K-League.
Accordingly, Coupang Play promised to actively invest in the K-League contents business, and plans to produce K-League-related original contents to capture the world of professional soccer in Korea. In addition, through Coupang, we plan to sell K-League goods and hold K-League event matches to provide additional pleasure to K-League fans.
In particular, Coupang Play plays not only the K-League 1 game, but also the team matches of the overseas players of the national soccer team, Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur FC), Lee Kang-in (Real Mallorca), Hwang Ui-jo (FC Girondaeng de Bordeaux), and Kim Min-jae (Fenerbahce SK). It is the only platform that broadcasts digital live.
This summer, Coupang Play invites Tottenham Hotspur to Korea through the 'Coupang Play Series', and the first match to be played against Team K League on July 13 can only be seen live through Coupang Play.
