BTS Jung-kook and Son Heung-min. The two superstars met in Qatar.

The Korea Football Association released a photo of Jung-kook visiting the national soccer team staying in Doha, Qatar, preparing for the 2022 Qatar World Cup on the 20th. Jung-kook visited the Al-Egla training ground where the national soccer team trains on the 19th and met Son Heung-min and other athletes for about five minutes and had a good time taking a commemorative photo.

Jung-kook and Son Heung-min are superstars in each field representing Korea. BTS is an idol group that is welcomed all over the world beyond Korea. Son Heung-min is considered a world-class soccer player as an idol. The meeting between the two has become a big issue in itself.

Jung-kook arrived in Korea on the 15th to celebrate the opening ceremony of the World Cup. Jung-kook will sing "Dreamers," the official soundtrack of the competition, with Qatar singer Fahad Al-Kubai, on the opening stage starting on the afternoon of the 20th. Son Heung-min is waiting for his third World Cup as captain of the national soccer team. He is recovering from injury after surgery and burning his will.

During his brief stay in Qatar, it was confirmed that Jung-kook first contacted the Korea Football Association to support the national soccer team. An official from the association said, "Jung-kook contacted me first if it was possible to visit the team. "I thought it would be helpful to the players, so the association gladly responded," he said.
