Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has made a bold move to sign Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae, according to reports from Al-Marsad.
Sky Sport Germany has revealed that Kim Min-jae is Bayern Munich’s top candidate for sale in the defensive ranks. The Bavarian club would not stand in the way of a transfer and are waiting for formal offers to arrive. Should the South Korean depart, Bayern are expected to reinvest the transfer fee.
Al-Nassr’s €50 Million Offer Arrives as Kim Heads to the FIFA Club World Cup
Meanwhile, Al-Marsad has reported that Al-Nassr have submitted a €50 million bid to secure the services of Kim Min-jae this summer. The Saudi club is hoping to finalise the deal swiftly, with Bayern’s lukewarm assessment of Kim’s performances last season and the player’s desire for a new challenge outside the Bundesliga playing into their favour.
European Giants and Saudi Clubs Monitor the Situation
Football-Asian.com understands that Kim Min-jae, who has recently travelled to the United States to join Bayern’s FIFA Club World Cup squad, is attracting interest from several Saudi clubs alongside major European sides including AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and a host of Premier League powerhouses such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Although the player is thought to favour a move to the Premier League, there has yet to be an official bid from any English club.
