Tottenham Hotspur have officially appointed Catalina Kim — a prominent sports business executive and CEO of C&P Sports — as the club’s new Chief Corporate and Development Advisor. The move marks a historic milestone: Kim becomes the first Asian woman ever to take on a senior executive role at one of the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ clubs.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Kim is widely recognised for her global expertise in sports commerce and strategic development. She has played a central role in a number of high-profile European football transactions, including club acquisitions and commercial deals involving elite teams and multinational brands.
A Proven Global Operator
Kim, also known by her Korean name Nana Kim, is a graduate of Dae-Won Foreign Language High School and Korea University, where she studied Hispanic literature and law. She went on to complete a master’s degree in brand marketing at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and pursued global leadership studies at the University of Oxford.
Her pioneering work has earned her the title of “Europe’s first female super-agent” by various European media outlets, including The Independent. In 2022, she became the first figure from Korean sport to be named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), in recognition of her contributions to equality and global value creation within the sports industry.
Kim is also a published author, having released her memoir “I Am the Agent Lady in London”, which details her journey as a woman navigating the top echelons of European football. She gained further public recognition in Korea through her advisory role during the Chelsea FC ownership transition.
A Strategic Role at Tottenham
At Tottenham Hotspur, Kim will oversee the development and execution of the club’s corporate strategy and long-term partnership structure. Her appointment reflects Spurs’ broader ambition to expand their global footprint and enhance commercial sophistication in an increasingly competitive football economy.
This landmark move by the North London club not only underscores their strategic intent off the pitch, but also signals a growing openness across English football to more diverse leadership at the very top of the game.
