K-pop powerhouse TWICE has officially kicked off the countdown to their highly anticipated 4th full-length album, THIS IS FOR, and they’re doing it in style—literally. On June 30, the group dropped their first concept teaser, “Extraordinary: We do us,” unveiling a visually bold and genre-defying new era that’s already sending fans and fashion lovers alike into a frenzy.

Set against muted pastel backdrops of violet, sage, and slate gray, all nine members embraced a punchy, kitsch aesthetic that blends Y2K charm with futuristic attitude. From electric-colored contact lenses and rainbow mascaras to hyper-detailed nail art and clock-inspired accessories, the girls are proving once again why they’re one of the most trendsetting groups in K-pop.

Eyes That Speak in Color

The members’ vibrant eye looks immediately steal the spotlight. Nayeon, Sana, and Mina went full mermaid with icy blue lenses, while Momo stunned with a violet gaze and Tzuyu shimmered in ocean-blue. Jihyo’s green eyes popped against her silver styling, and Jeongyeon opted for a unique sand hue. But it was Chaeyoung’s one-eye-only blue-gray lens that delivered a daring odd-eye twist—an editorial choice fit for a high-fashion spread.

Lashes, But Make It Art

Mascara wasn’t just a finishing touch; it was the centerpiece. Nayeon paired her blue lenses with cobalt mascara applied top and bottom, while Mina went playful with a pink flutter. Momo’s bleached white lash tips added a dreamy, surrealist edge, showing that colored mascara is more than just a TikTok fad—it’s a full-blown K-beauty moment.

Nails That Tell a Story

The hands of TWICE members delivered maximum attitude in micro-detail. Nayeon’s nails were dipped in baby pink and blue with her initials, N and Y, subtly embedded. Jeongyeon wore silver piercings on long extensions, while Chaeyoung featured hand-drawn cartoon eyes. Momo’s nails bore the album title, and Tzuyu’s dagger-sharp pink nails looked straight out of a cyberpunk fairytale. But the most jaw-dropping design? Sana’s teal jewels hidden under the nails—yes, under.

Time as a Statement Piece

Another defining motif in the shoot was the use of watches—not to tell time, but to style it. Necklaces, skirts, and chokers were adorned with clock faces, blending retro steampunk with avant-garde minimalism. In particular, Jihyo and Tzuyu wore chunky clock-chains as collars, and Momo’s skirt sparkled with timepiece embellishments.

A Long-Awaited Return

THIS IS FOR marks TWICE’s first full album in over three and a half years, following 2021’s Formula of Love: O+T=<3. The record features 14 tracks, including the self-titled lead single and other intriguingly titled B-sides like FOUR, MARS, LET LOVE GO, and G.O.A.T., promising a diverse musical landscape.

The Tour Begins

Following the album’s release on August 11 at 1 PM KST, TWICE will launch the sixth world tour of their career. The tour opens with back-to-back sold-out shows in Incheon’s Inspire Arena on August 19–20 and will span across Asia and Oceania, including stops in Osaka, Tokyo, Macau, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, and Bangkok. In a first, the group will open 360-degree seating at every venue, offering fans a fully immersive live experience.
