FIFAe Finals 25

The stage is set for one of the world’s premier nation-based esports events. FIFA has confirmed the group stage draw for all three competitions of the FIFAe Finals 25, ahead of the tournament’s kick-off in Riyadh on 10 December.

This year’s edition brings together the strongest national teams across Rocket League, eFootball™ Console, and eFootball™ Mobile, following a qualification cycle that involved more than 94 countries. Each competition will begin with a group phase before progressing to the knockout rounds, with fans able to attend matches in person on 13, 17 and 19 December.

Rocket League World Cup: Saudi Arabia Ready to Defend Its Crown

The headline attraction comes in Rocket League, where host nation Saudi Arabia enters as the reigning world champion and home-crowd favourite.
Last year’s runners-up France return with a point to prove, widely regarded as one of the strongest teams in the field.

A reshaped United States roster also arrives as a major contender after an outstanding 2025 season—lifting the RLCS World Championship and reaching multiple RLCS Major top-four finishes. With new talent representing the Stars and Stripes, many observers expect a three-way battle at the top.

eFootball™ Console World Cup: Indonesia Target Back-to-Back Titles

In the console discipline, Indonesia begin their title defence hoping to extend their growing reputation as a global powerhouse.

Yet the competition around them is fierce:

  • Italy swept through European qualifiers undefeated.

  • Japan eliminated Indonesia en route to winning the Asia regional finals.

  • Brazil delivered near-perfect form in South America.

The trio are widely tipped as the most credible threats to Indonesia’s repeat ambitions.

eFootball™ Mobile World Cup: Malaysia and Minbappe Chase a Second Crown

The mobile tournament also features a defending champion.
Malaysia, led by star player Minbappe, aim to secure a second consecutive world title after their breakout triumph last year.

Close behind are two standout challengers:

  • India, who impressed with a deep run in the 2024 event.

  • Thailand, unbeaten through their entire qualifying campaign.
