Legia enter race for Celtic’s Yang

In this context of strategic restructuring, Legia have lodged an enquiry for Celtic winger Yang Hyun‑jun, as reported by Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph. The Polish club see him as a candidate to bolster their attacking options — a priority under the club’s new direction.

At Celtic, Yang featured 34 times across all competitions, contributing six goals and six assists. Despite flashes of high-quality play, he struggled to become a regular starter under Brendan Rodgers, particularly behind competition from Nicolas Kühn, Jota, and Daizen Maeda.

Legia’s needs after underwhelming league finish

Legia concluded the 2024–25 Ekstraklasa season in fifth place—a notable disappointment for a club with championship expectations.
