Japanese coach Hajime Moriyasu revealed his dream for Japanese football ahead of the match against Spain.

The Japanese national soccer team, led by coach Moriyasu, will play the final match of Group E of the 2022 Qatar World Cup group stage against Spain.

Japan surprised the world with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Germany on the 23rd.

Hajime Moriyasu gave a press conference ahead of the match against Spain.

He said, “I hope we get positive results and play at a good level. I want to create the best environment for fans to enjoy. We prepared well, it will be a stressful game but we believe in our chances.”

“Spain are tactically good and their technical strength is clear. Spanish coach Luis Enrique gave the team a lot of dynamism.”

In order for Japan not to miss out on advancing to the round of 16, they need to win against Spain. He talked about his dreams.

“We lost in the semi-final against Spain at the Olympics. I still feel sad about that. But the players have improved a lot since then, so I hope for better results.”

“Spain and Germany were world champions. Japan also has a goal of becoming world champion before 2050.”
