Real Madrid is watching Kim Min-jae. Spanish media reported.
Spanish media "Defensa Central" said that coach Carlo Ancelotti requested Kim Min-jae to the board of directors.
According to reports, Ancelotti is eyeing Kim Min-jae. Kim Min-jae started the group stage match against Uruguay and Ghana.
Defensa Central said, "Kim Min-jae is a direct request of coach Ancelotti," adding, "Real Madrid is rich in central defenders, but some players can leave, opening up the possibility for Kim Min-jae."
Kim Min-jae went to Italy from Turkey last summer. Kim Min-jae has scored two goals in 14 Serie A matches, and has also started in all six group matches in the UEFA Champions League. Napoli is ranked first in Serie A with Kim Min-jae's performance, and the UEFA group stage also passed first in the group.
Prior to the tournament, BT Sports of the United Kingdom cited Kim Min-jae as a player to pay attention to and explained him as a "strong and position-wise center back."
Kim Min-jae is also mentioned as a target for another big club, Manchester United. Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano recently said on SNS that Manchester United sent a scout to observe Kim Min-jae.
Napoli and Kim Min-jae's contract has a buyout that can be activated for clubs outside Italy from July 1 to 15, when the transfer market will be held next summer.
