Suwon FC has strengthened its offense by recruiting a Norwegian foreign striker.
Suwon FC announced, "We have recruited Mohamed Ofkir (28), a winger from Bolerenga Portval in the Norwegian 1st Division."
Mohamed Ofkir is a Norwegian winger born in 1996 who can play on both the left and right flanks as well as in the center. He has consistently proven his offensive prowess by recording 35 goals and 31 assists in 228 professional games.
Mohamed Ofkir is considered to have a strong point in his sharp kicking ability in set-piece situations, and he is expected to be an important chance maker for the team. He is also good at exploiting gaps in the opposing defense through active physical contact and breakthroughs, and is evaluated as a resource that will add dynamism to Suwon FC's offensive pattern.
Mohamed Ofkir said, "I am happy to have the opportunity to take on a new challenge called the K-League," and added, "I want to show the fans a good performance with aggressive play."
