Gangwon announced on the 29th that it signed a contract with Mario Ćuže. Mario is a player with outstanding dribbling skills and a physical height of 188cm, and his strengths are his ability to push forward from the side. He has the ability to calmly create a scoring situation in front of the goal and finish it with a powerful shot. Mario will wear the number 11 on his back for the 2025 season. Gangwon added weight to its side attack by recruiting Mario.

Mario grew up in the youth team of Dinamo Zagreb, a prestigious Croatian club. In 2019, he was loaned to Croatia's Istra 1961 and stood out with 7 goals and 3 assists in 18 league games. Mario, who returned to Dinamo Zagreb and scored 2 goals in 12 games, moved to Lokomotiva Zagreb (Croatia) and SC Dnipro-1 (Ukraine) before settling in HSK Zrinski Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) ahead of the start of the 2022-2023 season. He has become a representative winger in the league, scoring 8 goals and 9 assists in 32 games in the 2022-2023 season, 12 goals and 6 assists in 28 games in the 2023-2024 season, and 2 goals and 1 assist in 17 games in the 2024-2025 season. As a member of Zrinski, he has played in the UEFA Champions League, Conference League, etc.

Mario has been consistently named to the Croatian national team by age group. He has played for the U-16 (2 goals in 8 games), U-17 (2 goals in 15 games), U-19 (3 ​​games), U-20 (1 game), U-21 (8 games), and U-23 (1 game) national teams.
